Best Indian food in Karlsruhe, great service in a stylish atmosphere. Also suitable for business lunches.

The food was unfortunately not what I know from Indian. Actually bland and lukewarm. When asked, the service staff said that you had to say in advance if you wanted the food spicy. The cheapest wine bottle costs 30 euros.

We are very satisfied and can only recommend it. The food was delicious, and the restaurant was super nice ? But the portion is rather small!

Even after the tenth visit, I'm still excited. I have tried a few different dishes and can say that the quality of the dishes is consistently very good. The service is very friendly and pleasant.

You enter the restaurant and you are in a world like 1001 nights. The decor is really great, romantic, cozy, neat, classy! The food is just as gorgeous. We have rarely eaten so well Indian. The prices are reasonable. So everything is fine up to this point! Unfortunately the waiter was not friendly, very impersonal and extremely curt. We waited a relatively long time until we were served even though the staff wasn't very busy. After we had the cards, no drinks were taken, but only when we demonstratively slammed the cards and put them aside to then order the drinks together with the meal. Certainly would have had another wine, but unfortunately we didn't feel very welcome. Pity! Six asterisks for food and ambience, two prints for the sad service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dissatisfied. Beef fillet tandoori without vegetables, followed by heartburn for hours. My girlfriend had a bland eggplant vegetable. Any other Indian can do that better. In terms of price very high, the blue light doesn't seem to be good for the service, seems to be under Valium. I therefore refrain from further visits.

My first visit to the Maharaja with my colleague was awesome. We will definitely be back very friendly staff, very clean and a really great atmosphere. Very fine food!

Such a worst experience, the price level is too high for the food which is not tasty enough to eat. As an Indian I would not recommend this.

The restaurant looks dignified, the terrace in the back yard is secluded and the staff were all very friendly. Communication was not possible with everyone. The order went wrong and so we got the main courses before the common starter. We are very familiar with Indian cuisine for a number of reasons. The beautifully served dishes in the Maharaja lacked the oriental touch for us. The food was well cooked and presented, but kind of irrelevant.

We were two people there,they asked us to wait even though many seats were vacant ,we stood there for 15 minutes,they did not ask to sit and got busy serving other people.we left after waiting for 20 minutes

Good place.a bit expensive. The Kashmiri chai is a must try !

I had lunch there and it was great. There are several great options on the lunch menu and considering there are even more things I'd like to try on the general menu I think I'll definitively come back again. The Mango Lassi was great. A word of advice though: you should call up front and reserve a table.

Loved the Place. Ambience was good. Service was good. Food was delicious. They were very polite warm and welcoming which we liked the most.

This was the second Indian restaurant found during my stay at Germany. Foods quality is very good. Loved to eat Indian food here after almost after one week.

Excellent food, great service, convenient location for me. The ambience is royal and leaves you with a feeling of being in an Indian palace. The prices are reasonable.

The food was very delicious and it felt just like real India. Malai Kofta as desert was the best i have ever tasted in Germany.
